Very little is known about this variety from Croatia. It is named after the village in northern Croatia where it has been grown for generations. Its translation is "herzegovine".
Large red beefsteak-like fruit, flattened and with rounded shoulders, even curved if the size becomes very large. Sometimes deep ribbing gives the fruit a lobed appearance. Deep depression at the stem attachment which is wide and corky.
Dense and juicy beefy flesh. Good flavour, typical of old tomatoes.
