Developed at the Morden Research Station in Manitoba, this variety was fixed in 1956 by crossing 'Marglobe' with 'Bounty' and then with 'Redskin'. An extra hative tomato suitable for zones 3 and below. Ideal for mountainous regions or the north, or for people in zones 4-5 who want tomatoes as early as July.
Round, bright red, slightly flattened, medium sized fruits, good flavour with a hint of acidity, juicy and fleshy.
Compact plants to be staked or else drags on the ground.
