
BLUE SKY

Variety whose exact origin is mysterious. Seeds received by Tatiana Yaschenko from a Russian gardener who gave her only a description and a name but no information as for its origin.
Big fruit with a uniform purplish red dress (thus with yellow skin) from 250 to 350 grams. Of type beefsteak with the variable form, most often strongly ribbed on the 2/3 of the body the more or less rebounded shoulders being able to make the fruit deformed.
Juicy and fleshy purple beef flesh with pink veins. Excellent rich flavor, perhaps a little more acidic than most "blacks".
