Commercial variety from Russia, sold by CV Gavrich and introduced in 2015 by "TatianaTomatobase". Takes its name from the tiger in the Jungle Book.
Synonyms: Sher Khan - Sherkhan - Шерхан.
Fruit of 80-150 grams of elongated plum type ending in a point with sometimes the beginnings of a nipple.
Red colour striped with light green and then yellow/orange when ripe.
Firm flesh with little gel, almost dry and with few seeds, 3 to 4 lodges, recommended for the preparation of sauces, coulis, can also be eaten in salads, mild flavour although more acid than sweet.
A compact, bushy variety, no taller than 1.20m, regular dark green foliage, determinate to semi-determinate growth to control the plant and avoid overgrowth.
Well suited to cool summer and/or short season regions.
