LAVENDER LAKE
Native to Bulgaria. Large, deep purple fruit with green shoulders, beefsteak-like.
Variety believed to be of Bulgarian origin.
Synonyms: Lavender lake -Lilac Lake - Sirenevoe Ozero - Сиреневое Озеро.
Large fruit of 200-400 grams deep purple with green flattened beefsteak-like shoulders and rounded or even curved shoulders for larger sizes.
Very juicy beefy flesh with a typical "black tomato" taste and a perfect balance despite all the complex flavours.
Very vigorous plant with great development, dense foliage, indeterminate growth.
Excellent and regular production from mid-season to frost.
Naturally well adapted to short season and/or cool summer regions.
