A heirloom strain originating from a German family living in Missouri. According to Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds, there are 2 different strains in terms of colour: one dark pink and the other yellow with red/pink stripes.
Large, beefsteak-like fruit, 300 to 1.5 kilos. Fruit flattened and very ribbed at the shoulders with a strong depression at the stem attachment and a large umbilicus trace.
Flesh of yellow beef with pink marbling and very good flavour.
