Almost unknown variety, seeds obtained by Jacky Mercier, collector in the Vienne, who received a bag of seeds from Greece with the only indication of its name: "Homaoteck".
A very large red fruit, often weighing more than a kilo and up to 3 pounds. Beef steak type, the shape is variable, most often flattened and ribbed or even wrinkled over 2/3 of the body, but it is possible to have slightly stretched round fruits with a heart-shaped, blunt tendency. Very large corky depression at the peduncular attachment.
Fleshy and thick beefy flesh.
