An old variety from Belgium, imported to the USA in the 1950s. Featured in the 1998 Seed Saver Yearbook.
Pink heart-shaped fruit weighing 100-300 grams. Clusters of 6 to 8 fruits.
Fleshy and juicy beefy flesh. Good sweet old-fashioned tomato flavour.
Large plant, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Second half of the season production (85-90 days).
NB: several sites (Tatianatomatobase, Ventmarin..) indicate that this variety would produce much larger fruits: from 300 to 500 grams...
