Polish heirloom. Large pink fruit weighing 250 to 450 gr., more or less flattened, with a discreet ribbing.
A heirloom variety from the family of Bill Malin whose grandfather Charles Sokolowski, originally from Poland, brought the original seed with him in 1904. Introduced to the Seed Savers Yearbook in 2006 and presented to the public in 2008.
Large pink fruit weighing 250 to 450 grams, more or less flattened, with a discreet ribbing at the top and rippled shoulders. Medium depression at the stem attachment.
Meaty beefy flesh with very good flavour.
Good yield. Tendency to burst.
