Recent variety from the USA. Developed by John Siegel of Covington, Ohio from crossing Schimmeig Creg and a pink beefsteak variety. For some it's the dark version of "Chocolate stripes".
Fruit of 120 to 300 grams of beefsteak type, with wavy and more or less ribbed shoulders.
Green epidermis striped with magenta, or vice versa with golden reflections.
Juicy flesh with an excellent smoky and rich flavor.
Plant moderately vigorous and with limited development that will have to be pruned with care, this one tending to lose its apex, regular foliage, indeterminate to semi-determinate growth.
Very good production, from mid-season until frost.
