Variety heirloom of the Willis family native of Virginia. Already cultivated at the beginning of the 20th century, introduced in 1929 by Southern Exposure Seed Exchange and reintroduced in 1989.
Large fruit of 200 to 500 grams, heart-shaped, rippled in the upper part and ribbed more or less deeply according to its size.
Smooth skin, cameo of yellow and orange.
Flesh of yellow ox marbled of orange, very dense and juicy, small lodges containing few seeds. Mild flavor without more.
