Russian commercial variety, rare and beautiful in colour and shape; its translation is "striped pepper". Some say it is the same variety as "Striped pepper".
Synonyms: Pertsevidnyi Polosatyi, Перцевидный Полосатый, Striped pepper.
Elongated cylindrical pepper-like fruit weighing 80-120 grams, 8-10 cm long and 4-5 cm in diameter.
Orange-red colour with golden yellow stripes. Cluster of 6 to 8 fruits.
Flesh of the "paste" type, not very juicy, with a few empty chambers or containing very few seeds. Only used for making sauce and paste.
Dwarf plant not exceeding 0.50 m with determined growth and rugosa foliage.
Can be grown in a pot but not recommended as all long varieties are prone to "black ass".
