A variety from Hungary, where it is widely grown, featured in the 2002 Seed Saver Yearbook.
Bright red fruit weighing 80-120 grams and 5-6 cm in diameter, well rounded with a hint of ribbing at the shoulders. Clusters of +/- 6 fruits.
Fleshy and juicy flesh with lots of gel and seeds. Delicious sweet taste.
Compact, stocky plant with limited growth, not exceeding 0.80 m, regular foliage, determined growth.
Very good post-harvest fruit retention. Generous early production (70-75 days).
Can also be grown in pots.
