This variety is thought to originate in the Ukraine or Russia. There is a hybrid variety with the same name but the description does not match, however it is possible that it was Russian or Ukrainian gardeners who de-hybridized and stabilized this variety. Commercially introduced by TatianaTomatoBaseBase in 2015.
