Family heritage from southern Italy. Brought to the USA in 1887 by Giuseppe Nardello.
Fruit with pendular port, long and fine pod of +/- 25 cm.
Ripens from green to red.
Sweet, fruity and complex flavor. Delicious cooked, dried or even fried.
Plant with a small development not exceeding 0.60 meters.
Resistant and very productive variety +/- 80 days.
This cultivar is considered the sweetest pepper with the most flavor and it has been placed in the "ark of taste" by the "Slow Food" organization.
