A heirloom variety from Palestine, named after the Arab farmer who saved the seeds.
Large, pink, beefsteak-like fruit weighing 300 to 500 grams, round and flattened at the poles, ribbed at the top and with rounded shoulders.
Juicy, firm and fleshy flesh. Good sweet flavour with a predominantly mild taste.
Vigorous plant with great development, regular foliage, indeterminate growth.
Excellent production from mid-season.
Particularly hardy variety, withstands heat and drought well.
