Russian cultivar. Red fruit of 150 to 300 gr more or less heart-shaped with a hint of rippling at the top.
Commercial variety originating from Russia. Developed by the Siberian Research Plant Breeding Institute. Presented at the Seed Savers Yearbook 2008 by Andrey Baranovski. Danko is a hero from a Russian legend written by Gorki.

Fleshy and firm beefy flesh. Delicious flavour.
Compact plant with determined growth and wispy foliage.
