Original variety of the former USSR, probably of Latvia, whose original name was lost, brought to the USA by a Latvian immigrant. Presented to the Seed Savers Yearbook in 1997.
Big heart-shaped pink fruit of 180 to 450 grams.
Firm full flesh with few seeds and gel.
Very dense, fleshy, pink with red veins, multi-located, small, containing very few seeds and gel.
Delicious fine and sweet taste.
Plant with great development with small stem and frail appearance, regular vaporous foliage, long and narrow, indeterminate behavior.
Harvest: good, in fits and starts, until frost.
