Red fruit weighing 100 to 180 grams, "Roma" type, plum, oval and smooth ending with a more or less visible point on its apical end. Clusters of 5 to 6 units.
Thick and juicy flesh, 2 compartments. Sweet taste. Well suited to cooking for making pastry, coulis etc.
Very good shelf life of the fruit once picked.
Very good heat and disease tolerance.
Note that there is a variety of the same name producing more or less the same fruit which is a hybrid distributed by "Vilmorin" and very popular in Ukraine and Russia where it is sold under the name: "Рио Гранде".
