Variety originating from the province of Treviso in Italy. Featured in the 2006 Seed Saver Yearbook.
Pumpkin red fruit weighing 300 to 700 grams and 10 to 13 cm in diameter. Beef steak type, flattened, deep ribbing on the upper half and with more or less strongly rounded or even curved shoulders.
Very fleshy and thick beefy flesh, very few seeds. Excellent, mild and sweet flavour.
Regular foliage, indeterminate growth. Good mid-season production +/- 80 days.
