A variety from the USA, introduced in 1997 by Seeds Savers Exchange. Despite its name it is not a heart-shaped variety.
The fruit is large, up to 500 grams, beefsteak-like, bulging at the top and flattened at the bottom.
The skin is yellow and white, with the apical end turning pink when ripe.
Juicy flesh, slightly marbled with pink, with a balanced flavour.
