As its name suggests, this rare variety is a native of the Astrakhan region near the Caspian Sea, Russian Federation.

Red fruit of 200 to 500 grams of the type beefsteak, round more or less flattened in the poles, slightly ribbed in high part and with the discrete undulated shoulders. Depression at the peduncular attachment very wide, corky and moderately deep.

Fleshy and juicy flesh with a delicious and well-balanced flavor, it is before full maturity that it delivers all its flavor.

Plant with large development with regular foliage and semi-determined growth.

Generous mid-season production +/- 75 days.

Resistant variety well adapted to regions with unfavorable weather conditions.
